Hi, I'm Mitch

I help small luxury brands and local businesses achieve marketing success.

My mission

I empower businesses with straightforward, effective marketing strategies rooted in transparency and creativity. I provide clients with the systems, processes, and connections they need to grow their businesses confidently and sustainably.

Why I’m Different

Unbiased Recommendations

I’m not here to sell you something you don’t need. Unlike many agencies, I don’t white label or mark up other people’s services. My recommendations are based on what’s best for you. Never ask your barber if you need a haircut. The answer will always be yes. I’m on your side, and that’s the real value of hiring a marketing advisor you can trust.

Commitment to Quality

I focus on delivering strategies and solutions that work for your business, not on hitting vanity metrics or upselling unnecessary services. When you work with me, you get marketing that’s intentional, effective, and built to last.

Transparency

You’ll always know exactly what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, and the results we’re getting. I’ll also give you the tools and processes to take ownership of your marketing, so your budget, time, and energy go further. The goal? To make your marketing scalable and as efficient as possible.

How We Work Together

Whether we start with a single consultation or dive into a full project, my approach is built around collaboration, flexibility, and your long-term success.

We’ll work together to create a tailored strategy that aligns with your goals and evolves as your needs change. I focus on laying a solid foundation first—getting the basics right before jumping into tactics—so every step we take is built to last.

Think of me as part of your team: someone who’s invested in your success, offers honest advice, and adapts as we grow together. My goal is to make marketing easier for you, so you can focus on running your business.

Who I Work Best With

Compounding Interest of Relationships

I work best with people who understand that great marketing is a long-term investment. It’s not about quick fixes; it’s about building something that lasts.

Many of my clients are small teams looking to scale, where marketing is often just one part of someone’s role. I’m here to give that person the tools, strategies, and support they need to succeed while juggling everything else on their plate.

I also love working with:

  • Small luxury brands and home-focused businesses
  • Local companies in Asheville and Upstate South Carolina
  • Brands that prioritize quality, craftsmanship, and transparency
  • If you’re focused on integrity, long-term growth, and doing things the right way, we’re going to work really well together.

Who I’m Not a Good Fit For

To-Do List:

I’m not selling simple execution for people who’s marketing is a list of administrative tasks. I highly recommend using UpWork – I have several freelancers that I can recommend.

Small Budget:

If my fees would take up most of your marketing budget, a quick consultation might be a better fit. Or, honestly, ask AI for some quick advice—it’s free and surprisingly helpful.

Big Budget:

If your business is doing $30M+ a year, you’re ready for a full-time marketing executive. I can help you figure out who to hire, what to look for, and assist with onboarding. Focus on their results instead of certifications. If Google teaches it, it’s easy to outsource. This hire can either skyrocket your revenue or waste your time, and it’s not always easy to tell which at first. If your job post doesn’t get much traction, I feel like recruiters are underrated.

Easy Button:

I also won’t sell from a menu of cookie-cutter marketing services. If you’re looking for an “easy button” solution, consider hiring a full-service agency. I can help you review proposals, and I know some great agencies in Asheville, Greenville, and the builder space (no referral fee involved). If you want extra peace of mind, I’m happy to jump in and review their work after a few months. If they’re a good agency, they’ll have a great strategy, and I won’t be necessary. One thing I would do is keep ownership of as much data and as many accounts as possible – GA4, website, CRM, emails, etc.

My Background

My favorite word is why. I’ve spent my career exploring not just how things work, but why they matter. That mindset has shaped my approach to business and life.

I started in creative industries, earning a degree in Motion Picture & Television Production. From there, I built a career focused on marketing, strategy, and storytelling. Along the way, I co-founded a small marketing agency, managed award-winning campaigns for custom home builders, and led strategies that turned vision into measurable results.

Today, I bring that same curiosity and strategic thinking to my consulting work. I help small businesses find their “why,” turn it into action, and grow with confidence. I build scalable systems that work, whether it’s through local SEO, brand storytelling, or marketing automation.

Outside of work, I’m constantly learning. I explore AI, dive into sci-fi books like (all-time favorite: Three Body Problem) and connect with local marketers through the mastermind I founded with AVL Digital Nomads: Marketing Minds. For me, growth is an upward cycle: gain freedom, build knowledge, create leverage, and repeat.
